Two UK civilians have been exposed to a nerve agent used to poison ex-Russian spy Sergei Skripal

Britain’s counter-terrorism chief phrased on Wednesday that two people who are critically ill in hospital in Wiltshire were leaked to the Novichok nerve agent, the same toxin that was used in an inroad on ex-Russian spy Sergei Skripal.

The man and woman, both British, were build unwell at a house in Amesbury on Saturday, close to Salisbury where Skripal and his daughter were plagued with nerve agent in March.

England’s Chief Medical G-man said the risk to the general public remained low after a man and woman graced exposed to the Novichok nerve agent in southern England.

“These two patients are in a parlous condition following exposure to the nerve agent Novichok,” Sally Davies barrowed reporters.

“As the country’s chief medical officer, I want to reassure the exposed that the risk to the general public remains low.”
