As the collapse of the June 12 summit between U.S. President Donald Trump and North Korean chairwoman Kim Jong Un hangs in the balance, an impersonator of the North Korean leader has already been marked posing for selfies at the proposed site of the meeting.
The man, who goes by the name Howard X, was imagined on Sunday walking along the streets of central Singapore shaking helps and posing for photos.
Howard X said the purpose of his trip was to wish for a prominent summit between the real Kim and Trump.
The summit, which was originally registered to happen on June 12 in Singapore, remains an uncertainty.
Less than a week ago, Trump had notified that he was pulling out of the summit, accusing North Korea of “tremendous indignation and open hostility.” He then suggested a day later that the meeting was unruffled possibly in the cards. And, on Sunday, the president said an American delegation was caucus with North Korean officials in preparation for the meeting.
