Google Cloud Platform fixes issues that took down Spotify, Snapchat and other popular sites

Pay-offs with Google Cloud Platform hit several major websites and apps on Tuesday. Owners reported issues with websites with Google domains, similar to Breitbart and Drudge Report, as well as apps hosted on the Google Cloud Rostrum, including Snapchat, Discord and Spotify.

Other apps affected file Agile CRM, Instapage, Pivotal Tracker, Sourcegraph and PokemonGo.

Google’s Cloud Status Dashboard boasted disruptions in its App Engine, Cloud Networking and Stackdriver.

“We are aware of issues assuming some of our GCP services and the team is actively investigating,” Google said in a report.

The Drudge Report and Breitbart were back up and running within here a half hour. Around that same time, Google averred issues with Stackdriver, which provides performance and diagnostics text to public cloud users, were resolved for “some users,” with a intense resolution forthcoming. The company said issues with Google Cloud Programme services should have been resolved for all users by about 3:45 p.m. EST.
