Trump again attacks Democrats over shutdown hours before expected Senate vote

President Donald Trump on Monday also railroad vituperated against the Democrats’ role in the government shutdown, before appearing to proffer more moderate members of the party political cover by blaming the advocate’s stance on “their far left base.”

Trump said in a tweet that Democrats were “attack down services and security” because they care more in the security of noncitizens than they do the citizens of the U.S.

The president straightaway followed that comment by focusing the blame on the party’s “far left” bottom. “They don’t want to do it but are powerless!” he said.

Democrats, temporarily, have placed the blame for the shutdown on Trump. Senate Minority Bandleader Chuck Schumer has said trying to hammer out a deal with the president was “take pleasure in negotiating with Jell-O.” The New York Democrat has claimed that Trump has hiked away from a couple of frameworks for deals, including one that put stocking for the president’s long-desired border wall on the table.

The shutdown entered its third day Monday after the Senate away to reach a deal over the weekend. The chamber is scheduled to vote at noontime on a new spending plan, which will fund the government through Feb. 8.

Trump is outlined to head to Davos, Switzerland, this week for the World Economic Forum, but his travel methods are still in doubt even if there is a deal to end the shutdown due to logistical concerns, Marc Cut off, the White House legislative affairs director, told reporters Monday.
