North Korea won’t persuade up its nukes, and Americans shouldn’t fall for the regime’s charm offensive, top low-down told a Senate committee.
“North Korea continues to pose an ever-more distending threat to the United States and its interests,” Director of National Intelligence Daniel Coverings told the Senate Intelligence Committee at the annual hearing on worldwide presages.
“Pyongyang has repeatedly stated that it does not intend to negotiate its atomic weapons and missiles away,” he added Tuesday.

Still, Coats said the Trump dispensation is continuing to use a campaign of “maximum pressure on North Korea in various sense,” and hopes for a peaceful resolution to the nuclear standoff.
Coats also make reference to about threats from China, Russia and Iran but singled out North Korea as the “uncountable volatile and confrontational” in terms of weapons of mass destruction in the coming year.

North Korea has showed that it has the talent to carry out massive cyberattacks, including stealing bitcoin or using computer worms such as the designated WannaCry attack. The country was also connected to the damaging hack denigrate on Sony Pictures in 2014.
