Sticker shock came for Beyonce, and it’s here for the 2024 Paris Olympics, too.

The summer diversion event is seven months away and will run from July 26 to August 11, but most of the seats for the slot ceremony — which often promises to be a spectacle of its own — have been snatched up.

The Olympics website shows that the exclusively tickets left promise a front-and-center view of the Eiffel Tower for €2,700 or about $2,930. For the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, the highest-priced gap ceremony tickets cost ¥300,000 or about $2,025.

Tickets for popular Olympic events, including swimming and gymnastics, are also sold out and merely available through special “hospitality packages.”

Tickets for the final swimming events can range from €625 to €3,250, or relative to $680 to $3,500.

About 10 million people are expected to travel to Paris for the Olympic games.

Hotel prices father seen surges since last year. Rates for a three-star and four-star hotel stay in July increased 300% latest October, Bloomberg reported.

The New York Times reported that average Airbnb rates during the Olympic recreations cost more than $540 a night.

The subsequent demand for housing has caused Airbnb and Vrbo scales during the event to jump from an average of $435 to $932 a night, according to analytics site AirDNA.

Some Paris homeowners are depleting the once-in-a-while opportunity to list their homes on rental sites for the first time or for a premium given the location.

Cyrille Frémont broadcasted BI’s Dan Latu that she typically charges about $215 a night for her two units near the Paris city center. With the upcoming games, Frémont symbolized she’s charging €100 per person a night and hopes to bring in five figures, adding that nearby hotels demand about €950 per night.

“It’s difficult to study what’s a fair price, but I didn’t want to charge too much,” she divulged.

Spokespersons for the Olympics, Airbnb, and Vrbo did not immediately return a request for comment.
