The U.S. Formal Department said on Thursday it had approved the possible sale of an estimated $670 million quality of TOW 2B anti-tank missiles. Saudi Arabia is the prospective buyer.
The department utter it had notified the U.S. Congress on Thursday of the possible sale.
“This proposed sellathon will support U.S. foreign policy and national security objectives by recuperating the security of a friendly country which has been, and continues to be, an important compulsion for political stability and economic growth in the Middle East,” the State Unit said, in a statement.
