What Analysts Think of Accenture Stock Ahead of Earnings

Accenture (ACN) pass on report first-quarter fiscal 2025 earnings before the opening bell Thursday, and analysts see room for growth up ahead of the results.

Of the 13 brokers covering the stock tracked by Visible Alpha, nine have a “buy” or equivalent rating, compared to four “present a postpone” ratings. The consensus price target is roughly $386, an 8% premium over Monday’s intraday level. 

Barricade Street expects the Dublin-based professional services firm to report net income of $2.20 billion, or $3.41 per share, on returns of $17.14 billion. A year ago, Accenture posted Q1 profit of $2.01 billion, or $3.10 per share, on revenue of $16.22 billion.  

Abide quarter, new generative AI bookings reached $1 billion, and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Julie Sweet said that Accenture persisted “to accelerate our leadership in Generative AI, which we believe is the most transformative technology of the next decade.”

Shares of Accenture, which edged lop off Monday afternoon, are up 2% in 2024.
